What’s included in your desert safari tours?
Most of our desert safari packages are designed to be “all-in-one” experiences, so you don’t have to worry about separate arrangements.
Typically included (depends on the tour option you choose):
✔ Pickup & drop-off by 4×4 (shared or private option)
✔ Dune bashing in the Lahbab Red Dunes (for desert safari options)
✔ Sunset photo stop + sandboarding
✔ Desert camp entry
✔ Short camel ride (and extended 20-minute camel ride available as upgrade)
✔ Falcon photo opportunity (available at camp / subject to timing & availability)
✔ BBQ buffet dinner (veg & non-veg)
✔ Live shows at camp (on dinner safari options)
✔ Restrooms available at camp
✔ Tea, coffee, soft drinks, and water (as per package)
Optional upgrades you can add:
✔ Quad bike ride
✔ Dune buggy ride
✔ VIP seating / Table Service BBQ Dinner
✔ Private vehicle

What are the pickup timings, and where is the meeting point?
We offer convenient pickup from most locations in Dubai.
Pickup & drop-off (most common):
✔ Pickup from Dubai hotel/residence (share your hotel name + room number not required)
✔ Pickup time depends on season and tour type (morning vs evening)
✔ Drop-off time depends on traffic and package selected
Meeting point option (self-drive):
If you prefer, you can drive to our desert meeting location and start from there (useful if you’re outside Dubai or want faster start). We share the exact Google Maps pin after booking.
Important:
✔ Please be ready 10 minutes before pickup time
✔ If your location is difficult to access, we may suggest a nearby pickup point (mall/hotel entrance)
Is dune bashing safe? Who should avoid it?
Dune bashing is one of the best parts of the experience, but it is a bumpy off-road ride, like a roller coaster on sand.
Safe for most guests when done by licensed drivers, but you should avoid dune bashing if you have:
— Pregnancy
— Back/neck/spine injuries or recent surgery
— Serious heart conditions
— Severe motion sickness
— Any medical condition where bumps/jolts are risky
Good news:
✔ You can request a soft drive (milder dunes) in many cases
✔ You can also choose a no dune bashing option and go directly to the camp (where available)

Can kids join? What are the age rules for quad bikes and dune buggies?
Yes—families are welcome on most tours, and many guests come with children.
For desert safari & camp:
✔ Children can join (family-friendly options available)
✔ Parents are responsible for supervising children at all times
✔ For very small kids, we recommend choosing a softer ride or skipping dune bashing
Quad bike / dune buggy rules (varies by supplier & vehicle):
— Usually the rider/driver must meet minimum age requirements
— Some buggies allow a passenger; others are driver-only
— Safety briefing is mandatory before riding
— Helmets/safety gear are provided

What should we wear and bring? Are restrooms available?
Dubai desert weather changes by season, but comfort is easy if you dress smart.
What to wear:
✔ Light, comfortable clothes (t-shirt, trousers/shorts)
✔ Closed shoes or sneakers (best for sandboarding & walking)
✔ In winter evenings, bring a light jacket
What to bring:
✔ Sunglasses
✔ Phone/camera (sunset photos are amazing)
✔ Small cash/card for souvenirs or upgrades (optional)
Facilities:
✔ Restrooms/toilets are available at the desert camp
✔ Seating areas are available (standard or VIP/table service if selected)
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Our tours are time-based services, and refunds depend on notice period and the type of booking (shared/private/add-ons).
General rule (unless your tour page states different):
✔ Cancel 48 hours or more before tour time → refund eligible (transaction fees may apply)
✖ Cancel within 48 hours → no refund
✖ No-show / missed pickup → no refund
Weather / government advisory:
If the tour is canceled due to severe weather or safety instructions, we will offer:
✔ Reschedule to the next available date, or
✔ Refund (full or partial depending on what was already used)
Important note about add-ons:
Quad bikes, dune buggies, tickets, and some private services may be non-refundable once reserved.
