This Refund & Returns Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and changes work for tours and activities booked with Desert Tours Dubai (“we,” “our,” “us”). By booking through www.deserttoursdubai.com, you agree to the terms below.


1) Tours & Services Are Non-Returnable

Our products are services (tours/activities), not physical goods, so there are no “returns”. Refunds apply only under the cancellation terms below.


2) Cancellation & Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility depends on the tour type, supplier rules, and the time of cancellation.

A) Standard Cancellation (General Rule)

Unless your tour page states different terms, the following general policy applies:

  • 48 hours or more before tour time: Eligible for refund (minus payment gateway/transaction fees if applicable)

  • Within 48 hours of tour time: No refund

  • No-show / late arrival / missed pickup: No refund

Note: Some activities (e.g., private tours, quad bikes, dune buggies, tickets/attractions) may have stricter policies and may be non-refundable once confirmed.


3) Changes / Rescheduling

We can help reschedule subject to availability.

  • If you request a change 48 hours or more before the tour, we usually can reschedule with no extra charge (price difference may apply if you upgrade).

  • Requests made within 48 hours may not be possible and may be treated as late cancellation.


4) Refunds for Operator / Weather / Government Cancellation

You may be eligible for a refund if we cancel due to:

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Government advisory / safety restrictions

  • Operational reasons (rare)

In these cases, we will offer one of the following:

  • Reschedule to the next available date, or

  • Refund (full or partial depending on what was already delivered/used)


5) Partial Refunds (When Applicable)

Partial refunds may apply if:

  • A part of the service was already provided (e.g., pickup completed, some activities used)

  • Add-ons (quad/buggy) are not used due to guest choice, health reasons, or late arrival

  • Third-party suppliers impose non-refundable charges


6) Add-Ons, Tickets & Third-Party Services

Some items are non-refundable once booked/issued, including (but not limited to):

  • Theme park / attraction tickets

  • Burj Khalifa tickets

  • Private transfers

  • Quad bike / dune buggy reservations

  • Special permits / reserved seating / VIP upgrades

If an add-on is non-refundable, it will be stated during booking or on the tour page.


7) How Refunds Are Processed

  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

  • Refund timing depends on your bank/payment provider (typically 5–14 business days).

  • Transaction fees charged by payment gateways/banks may be non-refundable.


8) Chargebacks & Disputes

If you have an issue, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Unnecessary chargebacks may delay resolution and can result in booking restrictions.
